John 1:12-13 12Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.
Grace
I refer to Him as my Heavenly Father
He affectionately calls me His girl ("Daughter" when I need a little push)
Sometimes I feel like I'm his favorite child,
Other times, I'm the family screw up.
It doesn't matter which I am, though
Either way, thanks to Jesus Christ,
The Almighty calls me His
This, to me, is Grace.

I realized something here, Helen. Because of the gift He gave us, we are all named Grace.
Wow!
There is so much strength in this ...
Good job contrasting being the favorite versus being the family screw up. Helen, I think you're a great lady!!!!
You can call Glynn, Grace ... :-) Thank you for your poem. :-)
I loved this!
Ah, Helen. I feel the same way!
I loved this, Helen. WOW.
You very simply brought the concept of grace home for me.
If you are His favorite daughter, I'm definitely His favorite son. :)
Amen. Great truth here. Thanks, Helen!
i agree...
this is truly grace, indeed.
Amazing how He makes us each feel like His favorite.
Beautifully expressed, Helen.
This was written beautifully, Helen. Thanks for saying what I needed to hear today.
The grace of your writing touches my soul.
He loves us no matter how we feel or even if He has to put us in the corner. Love this.
That was really beautiful Helen ♥
True. One day I'm a treasure, I'm sure... others I'm a "Pain"... can almost see Father rolling His eyes. But, whether I'm perfect or not, HE IS! YEA!!
