Inner Peace: Following Dr. Phil's Advice...
I am going to be away from my computer today. Hectic day. My uncle is mommysitting and everything. If you want details, email Wendy (Thanks Wendy). She knows all. Or at least everything that I do...
I thought considering the hecticness of today, I would share an email a friend from prayer group sent me last night about inner peace. Apparently Dr. Phil isn't completely filled with hooey...
CALMNESS IN OUR LIVES
I am passing this on to you because it definitely works and we could all use
a little more calmness in our lives. By following simple advice heard on the
Dr. Phil show, you too can find inner peace.
Dr. Phil proclaimed, 'The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the
things you have started and have never finished.'
So, I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn't
finished, and before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle
of Merlot, a bottle of Zinfandel, a bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream, a bottle
of Kaluha, a package of Oreos, the remainder of my old Prozac prescription,
the rest of the cheesecake, some Doritos and a box of chocolates.
You have no idea how freaking good I feel right now.
Please pass this on to those whom you think might be in need of inner peace

That reminds me... I have a large bag of M&M's that need to be finished...
Oh thank goodness.
Finally something he says I can relate to.
<-SB><
All I read was Merlot, Zinfandel and M&M's...ahhhh....
The secret to inner peace! Finally!
What if what I really want to finish I haven't exactly started yet? Like, I really want to finish a java chip frappucino. Is it equally peaceful to start AND finish something in the same day?
(I don't think I can start and NOT finish one, is why I ask.)
Turns out, Dr. Phil is Brilliant! Who knew?
'Scuse me while I go "finish off" a few things...
funny - I will not be taking his advice!!!!
I took your advice. While I was cleaning Rachel's room, I found a half eaten bag of skittles under her bed. To find inner peace, I completed the bag.
Ahhh......much better!
I always try to sneak a little Dr. Phil before the wife can catch and berate me! :)
Well then that decides it - I'm finishing off that lemon hummus right now. I think the alcohol may still be watered down from back when the kids lived here, so that would be pointless. But then, I wouldn't want him shaking his finger at me!
