Welcome to Candada

Drabble

Yeah. I have messed up the obvious sometimes. Like Drabble, I have been caught saying good morning instead of good afternoon. I have also let water boil dry, and forgotten to put the milk away.
My favorite goof up? When my supervising professor was visiting on the day I was teaching about Canada, and I was so nervous, I wrote "Candada" on the board. Luckily for me, she saw how drawn in the kids were once they were able to correct me, and thought the mistake was a tool for getting their attention. Yeah. Far be it from me to correct my superiors. How about you? Do you have a favorite mistake?

Hi Helen,

Okay the first song I heard was Mambo italiano or something like that. I honestly didn't enjoy that one. But after I clicked back from the comments, the Rick Springfield song Kristina was playing and I can handle that. Hmmm, I'm wondering if the catchy "Kristina" part is going to stay with me the rest of the day.

I get to hear Ricky Martin singing 'she'll let you take her clothes off and go dancing in the rain...' How lucky am I?

Most embarassing screw up? There are so many I can't remember a single one.

Well Helen, I don't have anything to share, since I don't make mistakes.

And I am always scrupulously honest.

Happy weekend!

Are you serious? How could I pick out a FAVORITE MISTAKE?

I have lots of pet mistakes.

My recent gold shoe purchase/shoplift attempt being one of them.

Um....

You mean like trying to convince everyone around you during your high school graduation ceremony that it was, indeed time to throw our caps in the air? And then to prove your point, throw yours across a large indoor stadium, only to hear a minister say immediately following, "Let us pray"?

Nah, I've never done anything like that...

Not one that I wouldn't blame on someone else who lives here.

But I got hit in the head by a flying graduation cap once.
