Happy Guadete Sunday!

Guadete means rejoice! We rejoice because, hey, over half of our candles are now lit. We light a pink one to symbolize joy. About 14 years ago I was in a Church Choir that sang the above song, and I just loved it (Latin Rap, Sherri, posted just for you!). I actually don't remember the stanzas too well. I think we sang some of them in English, but kept the Chorus in Latin. I could be wrong. It has happened once or twice. God bless you!

Hey, I just saw your comment about my non-posting this weekend.

Yes, I was VERY busy!

As you can imagine after my being out of comission all last week sick, I had a house to clean, still some Christmas decorating to finish (because I decorate EVERY room in the house), went to my parents to put up their decorations
and my son Josh's band played near our hometown so we went to his concert (we travel to see any concert within a reasonable distance because we don't get to see him much, and we love his music!)

I also teach Sunday School so on Saturday I spent alot of time going over my lesson again and trying to "hear" from God concerning it.

SUnday was church, then y parents came for lunch, left around three and Big Al and I just spent some good cuddle time together, lying on the couch watching TV, which won't don't get to do too often.

It was a very good, non bloggy weekend.

Good to be back at it though.

Hey! We sang this song one year for Christmas in my high school choir! I even had a solo...but I think we sang the verses in English, too, and the chorus in latin.
